Data Protection

All personal data held by Music & Health Ireland, both in manual and automated form, will be kept and
processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1988 and the Data Protection (Amendment) Act,
2003, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) 2018, and the Data Protection Act 2018. This
includes personal information held on employees, children / young people / parents / guardians, board
members, donors, volunteers, and independent contractors.

Music & Health Ireland will comply with the Data Protection principles set out in the relevant legislation.
This applies to all Personal Data collected, processed and stored by Music & Health Ireland in the course of
its activities. Music & Health Ireland makes no distinction between the rights of Data Subjects who are
employees, and those who are not. All are treated equally under this Policy.

Our Donor Charter

Music & Health Ireland strives for best practice in our fundraising and as a result has adopted the Charities
Regulator Guidelines for Charitable Organisations Fundraising from the Public.

Our pledge is to treat all donors with the utmost respect, honesty and openness. Our commitment is to be
accountable and transparent so that donors and prospective donors, can have full trust and confidence in
Music & Health Ireland. We commit to being good stewards of everything that we are entrusted with and
to remain beyond reproach, at all times.
