Young Music Graduate Programme 2022

This unique project is one of the first to address the need to offer mentorship and paid opportunities to early-career musicians on a national level. This project helps maximise young musicians’ capacity by building additional skills to support new work opportunities at a local level, while placing creativity and artists at the heart of our healthcare communities.

This project is a collaboration with Music & Health Ireland, the National Concert Hall, Waterford Healing Arts Trust and Tallaght University Hospital.

The project will support nine music graduates across music genres to develop their skillset under the mentorship of the Kids’ Classics programme team of professional hospital musicians through 5 supported CPD training days and 6 days of practical placements in Healthcare Settings.

This project also aims to connect musicians to Music and Healthcare programmes nationally and grow a network of paid performance opportunities for musicians.
